2007 Overview (Truck Series, Age 16)

In his first year in full size cars and his first year on the 1/2 mile at Irwindale Speedway Connor exceeds all expectations as he wins his second Irwindale Speedway Rookie Title, and finishes 4th in the Season Point Standings. From day one Connor showed amazing skill as he posted 'the' fastest time at the pre-season test session and then went on to compete with some of the best drivers on the West Coast. For the fourteen race schedule and among over forty competitors Connor posted ten Top 10's including a 4th place finish, a 3rd place finish and four 2nd place runs where the only thing between him and a win were veterans such as Pat Mintey Jr, Southwest Tour Champion Joe Herold, and Craftsman Truck Series driver Bill Segewick. All of the spec series he has competed in from karts, to Legend Cars, and now Trucks he again proves that when in equal equipment he can compete with the best. For 2008 this 17 year old will once again be racing at Irwindale Speedway in either a Late Model rookie season or a run at a Championship in the Truck depending on sponsorship
